We are no.1 (Straits Times)

We are Number ONE, Straits Times, 10/01/09

We are Number ONE, well sort of ;)

The American Council Exercise (ACE) conducted a survey and boot camp style workouts are the most popular in the 'Fitness Trends in 2009' category.

Just like the ones in States, they are budget friendly and deliver one of the best results when it comes to weight loss and gaining fitness. You may want to read it the article here. (Reuters, ACE 2009)

According to the American Council on Exercise, "Boot Camp-Style Workouts: Boot camp workouts remain extremely popular because they provide a total-body workout that's varied, fun and challenging.

Up to 600 calories can be burned during a boot camp session, which is obviously going to facilitate weight loss.  But in addition to a great cardiovascular workout, muscles are strengthened through high- and low-intensity exercises such as pushups, squats and lunges. You don't basically experience significant muscle fitness benefits in other aerobic exercises."

With the Fitness Gurus of Fitnessbootcamp.sg, you will burn 1000 calories, not 600. Our Dynamic Body Training System is progressive, which means, depending on your fitness level, if you're a beginner, you'll be burning about 400 a session at first. We aim to increase the intensity as the weeks go by - about 100 to 200 calories a session. By 4 weeks, you'll be burning 1000 calories every session. If you workout 4 times a week, that's 4000 calories per week!

There's a blurb about us in Straits times last Saturday.. check out the the second column :)

Oh another thing.. to share the excitement of fitness bootcamps, each session now costs $28 only. Not $50 :) There are limited slots, so grab it while you can!

And if you're turned off by the title 'military style' workouts, hold on. We have different levels of intensity for everyone. Your trainers will push and motivate you to ensure you give your best during every workout.

  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

Most of the participants are beginners.. come join them!
